- Maintain an atmosphere of lively customer engagement, emphasizing fast, friendly, and precise customer service to enhance the shopping experience
- Collaborate effectively with other associates
- Schedule and conduct floor cleaning when vendor services are not available
- Weekly maintenance of Produce, Market, and Deli Sections
- Organize and clean the store mop room
- Identify more efficient methods of task completion to reduce costs and enhance productivity
- Adhere to QA daily checklist and Food Lion's sanitation standards
- Follow current Standard Practices for hazardous waste product cleanup
- Ensure full comprehension and adherence to company guidelines and policies
- Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety protocols
- Identify and rectify any unsafe conditions that could cause accidents
- Report all accidents following Food Lion's procedures
- Comply with local, state, and federal regulations
- Wear the designated Food Lion uniform, maintaining a clean appearance
- Successfully complete required training courses
- Perform additional assigned duties
- Qualifications:
- Preferably a high school graduate or equivalent
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Capability and willingness to learn various job-related tasks and technical requirements
- Ability to utilize technical information for issue resolution
- Meet minimum age requirements for specific job tasks
- Meet physical job requirements with or without accommodations
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to operate computers and communication systems
- Execute repetitive hand and arm movements
- Lift products weighing up to 15 lbs. continuously, 25 lbs. frequently, and 50 lbs. occasionally
- Push or pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally
- Stand for extended periods, frequently walk short distances
- Handle various substances related to cleaning and packaging
- Handle currency frequently, operate equipment

- Meet activity standards
- Work in extreme temperatures for short durations
