Knowledge of large-scale data centers' and colocation facilities, medium to high voltage electrical infrastructure systems is required.Excellent communication skills, ability to work in teams and matrix organization, proficiency in software packages for design and analysis of electrical power systems is required.
The individual will be involved in the development of complex electrical infrastructure from site assessments and concept design to green field construction and major modification of existing infrastructures on global capital projects.
The individual will provide and prepare all types of documents including:statement of work (SOW), total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, concept designs, drawing markup, budget, schedule, factory test and acceptance documents, final startup/commissioning reports and review and acceptance of as-builts and submittals.
It also includes Post Facility Ready (FR) HV/MV substation upgrades and retrofits. The person will possess a deep understanding of building construction and design, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.The ideal candidate will also have a solid understanding of energy and power infrastructure delivery with a strong engineering background, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What you'll do Develop delivery and execution plan for Substation delivery, evaluate product feasibility and develop plan to optimize design & construction packages with the client, design, and construction contractor partners for NASA Substation projects.
