    Job Description

    Designs, develops, and conducts simulations against hard targets, missiles, and other intelligence gaps and supports a simulated environment. Interacts with users to define and optimize new M&S functionality for applications. Develops and applies interdisciplinary methods, algorithms, statistics, and research techniques in the development of data driven solutions.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)

    Applies engineering principles to evaluate weapon system models
    Performs analysis of data systems such as Big Data systems
    Develops and applies advanced techniques in the investigation and solution of advanced system requirements and problems
    Evaluates data, algorithms, and their interaction to improve algorithm performance*May apply advanced statistics, including natural language processing and machine learning, to create solutions
    Performs advanced technical planning, system integration, and verification and validation and evaluates alternatives
    Conducts M&S architecture definition, implementation, validation, and testing
    May write code to manipulate data

    Required Experience

    Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, math, or other scientific/technical discipline.
    Minimum of 2 years work related experience.
    U.S. Citizenship required; TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance required; must be willing and able to successfully undergo a CI Polygraph.
    Familiarity with the integrated threat analysis & simulation environment (ITASE).
    Experience in the intelligence community.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Master's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering.
