    Accounts Payable Specialist

    We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis due to a temporary absence. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including invoice processing, vendor management, reconciliations, and working with Microsoft Excel.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform daily A/P functions, including receiving bills, confirming accuracy, payables entry, and payment.
    • Process full cycle accounts payable, from invoicing to payment and vendor record maintenance.
    • Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
    • Process 3-way matches (Vendor Invoice, P.O., Receipt or Receiving Documents) to ensure accurate information before processing payment.
    • Respond to vendor inquiries, reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 4 years of AP experience, preferably in a similar role.
    • Strong experience with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, and basic functions).
