    POSITION:

    Sales and Supply Chain Analyst

    JOB TYPE:

    W2, Contract, 12 Months

    LOCATION:

    Plano, TX

    JOB SUMMARY:

    • Sales and Supply Chain Operations Analyst is part of the central analytics group in the companys Mobile division. He/She will be responsible for publishing several analytical reports and driving the automation for multiple performance reports to drive efficiency across the team. He/She will also be responsible for integrating disparate data for mobile device sales demand, pricing and promotions, sales performance, market insights, and operations to create sales forecasts.
    • The ideal candidate has strong business analytics experience with the required technical skills to improve KPI reporting and automation with an ability to leverage advanced analytics solutions and articulate insights and recommendations to drive business decisions at various levels in a fast-paced, matrix organization.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Integrate data, create dashboards, and develop insights and recommendations.
    • Publish several reports and automate the reports across product categories and metrics.
    • Conduct sales risk and opportunity analysis and build performance view.
    • Analyze the promotions, marketing, and channel actions to forecast the sales performance.
    • Evaluate market dynamics and consumer insights to improve the forecast, sales, and operational performance.
    • Build automation of weekly sales and operations KPI reports.
    • Create presentations with compelling stories to share with leadership, and cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

    • 3 years of experience in data and analytics for marketing, sales and/or operations functions, specifically in sales and supply chain operations with strong business acumen.
    • Strong experience of forecasting sales and identify insights with various methodologies.
    • 2 years of experience with Tableau and data visualization.
    • Bachelors degree is required. Masters degree in Analytics will be a huge plus.
    • Experience of working with Telecom, Technology, Consumer Electronics and/or Retail industry is a plus.

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Strong hands-on with Excel is a must to create consistent reporting, build complex models, develop automation with Excel to increase efficiencies, and publish accurate reports.
    • Create effective insights and recommendations from the reports.
    • Knowledge of machine learning time series and regression models for forecasting, pricing, and promotional analytics will be a plus.
    • Strong presentation skills with good Microsoft PowerPoint capabilities and articulating insights from analysis.
