SCHEDULE:

THE CNC HMC MACHINIST POSITION IS FOR THE EVENING SHIFT (3:30 PM TO 12:00 AM), AND THE CNC MACHINIST (LEVEL 5) POSITION IS FOR THE DAY SHIFT.
PLEASE NOTE THE SALARY RANGE IS THE SAME FOR BOTH ROLES.
THE HIRING MANAGER IS LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WITH PREVIOUS HBM OR HMC EXPERIENCE.

ALL RESUMES SHOULD INCLUDE THE SPECIFIC MACHINE THE CANDIDATE HAS OPERATED IN THE PAST.

JOB ROLE:

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of experience operating Horizontal Mills. HBM experience is a plus. This job requires significant experience in setting up machines, setting tooling, and editing/adjusting programs as needed. Solid understanding of blueprint reading including GD&T symbols and tolerancing.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Successful candidate will be responsible for producing quality products in a safe and timely manner.
• Loading and unloading of parts using overhead cranes and loading/unloading parts using overhead cranes are required abilities.
• Identifying problems before the production run to avoid running out of tolerance parts.
• Excellent understanding of measuring equipment and tolerancing.
• Excellent knowledge of cutting tools.
• Perform other workrelated tasks as assigned.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must machining experience years operating a CNC mill.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Ability to work overtime when required and stand for long periods of time.
• Job shop experience preferred.
