- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant area
- At least five years of experience in a B-to-B sales leadership position
- At least ten years of post-college work experience that includes sales and account management experience
- A track record of results / business growth
- Previous experience in the metals industry is preferred
- Previous experience in a fast-paced quoting environment is preferred
- A stable employment history
- A hands-on, coaching leadership style, without micromanaging
- A presence and personality that inspires confidence, encourages high morale, and invites subordinates to be open with him or her
