    JOB SUMMARY:

    Reporting to the Executive Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, this role is responsible for supporting the plant operations function. This position is the primary point of contact on the Finance Team to support the Engineering departments. Key responsibilities include setting and maintaining standard costs for multiple product lines; estimating product costs for new and existing products; investigating month-to-month variance in costs – standard vs current costs; reporting KPIs related to product costs and inventory; analyzing material and LOH variances; supporting cost reduction initiatives and annual forecasts/AOP.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Monitor, analyze and report out on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to engineering department activities.
    • Support engineering projects and cost reduction efforts.
    • Collaborate with the engineering team to assess spending requirements to support the business needs and assist with the review and approval process for both OpEx and CapEx spending requests.
    • Support the financial close process for engineering related entries and analysis.
    • Prepare timely reports and presentations to finance and engineering management.
    • Support Ad Hoc projects and analysis, as needed.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex data to a wide variety of stakeholders
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers
    • Ability to reconcile large data sets and intermediate to advanced level skills in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Business Intelligence reporting tools
    • Ability to prioritize and perform in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
    • Must be organized and detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to thrive in a team-based environment
    • Continuously perform to high ethical standards and those established from an Internal Controls/Legal perspective.

    EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Operations, Supply Chain or related field)
    • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role
