Description

Our client, a national distribution company for the construction industry, has retained our firm to conduct a search for a Human Resources Manager due to recent and future company growth through acquisitions.

This position will report directly to the VP, HR and is primarily an on-site role and will be responsible for the day-to-day HR initiatives with focus on employee relations, performance management and compliance with labor laws and regulations. The role will also involve developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, conducting training and development programs and working with VP of HR in recommending and implementing the latest HR technology and best practices to attract and retain top performing talent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of individual contributor career level human resources generalist experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
• Understanding of labor laws and regulations
• Track record of handling employee relations issues
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• ADP Workforce HRIS experience a plus
