    DescriptionAs Director, Performance Central Reporting, you develop and deliver data-driven insights on the portfolio and project progress, resource and financial forecast and progress of BMS's innovative pipeline. You partner closely with Drug Development, Research, and Finance teams to identify key business questions and needs, execute reporting projects, and deliver dashboards that provide actionable insights. You evaluate and identify opportunities for continuous improvement based on business and operational changes. Additionally, you represent the department within relevant cross-functional forums and initiatives. Your analyses, insights and recommendations contribute to even more effective pipeline operations and pipeline health.

    You will partner with R&D IT, and Finance to create an integrated reporting environment of portfolio and project performance and characterize its impact on advancing the BMS pipeline with productivity and speed to deliver new treatments to patients in need.

    Key ResponsibilitiesDrive the establishment of project and portfolio reporting as a key capability and value driverSupport strategy and vision for building project reporting capability to support generation of actionable insights and facilitate decision makingResponsible for the development of KPI to assess health of the portfolio including time, quality at the study, program, and portfolio level.

    Partnering with IT team on Performance Central reporting system developmentDrive portfolio analytics to support governance and corporate goalsAnalyze business requirements for portfolio and project reporting needs across the Research and Drug Development landscapeDeliver data-driven insights and develop intuitive dashboards that will help identify timeline or execution riskLead business transformation using systems and dataProactively network and liaise with cross functional business stakeholders to identify, understand, and deliver high value dashboards and insights, while ensuring objectivity and consistency across the enterpriseLead delivery of Performance Central dashboards and serve as business owner, driving development in a way that meets needs of relevant functions/stakeholders and balanced organizational prioritiesTwo direct Reporting specialist roles and additional contract supportQualificationsBS Degree in scientific or technical field, advanced degree preferred10+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare or technical industryExperience in R&D portfolio, clinical trial or commercial execution is preferredProject management experience with PMP certification preferredDemonstrated ability to use data to drive decisions and answer key business questionsDeep understanding of pharmaceutical research and development process and data architectureDemonstrated ability to independently evaluate and draw insights on portfolio and project dynamicsUnderstanding of the application of advanced data integration, analytics, and reportingExperience delivering in a matrix organization, including articulating value propositions, balancing a complex book of work while making trade-offs and managing demandExcellence in meeting facilitation and in both written and oral communicationDemonstrated ability to build relationships (both virtual and in person) with executives and peers, including ability to negotiate and manage stakeholder engagement and influence changeAbility to be flexible and adapt quickly to the changing needs of the organizationSoftware that must be used independently and without assistance (e.g.
