    National Airlines, based in Orlando, FL, operates passenger charter service as well as customized military and commercial air cargo carriages worldwide. National Airlines specializes in over-sized, time sensitive, and special handling requirements, utilizing , and A-330 aircraft to accomplish its missions.

    Job Title: Stores Clerk

    Locations: ANC (Anchorage, Alaska)

    Department: Materials

    Reports To: Manager of Stores

    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

    Summary: The Stores clerk is a hands-on, working team member responsible for the day-to-day operations of stock levels.

    Essential Functions:

    • Facilitates the inventory and maintenance of supplies, tools, equipment, and stock.
    • Assists in the loading/unloading of shipments.
    • Stock material in proper location(s) for further distribution.
    • Performs all shipping and receiving duties.
    • Assists store lead in purchasing aircraft parts.
    • Performs inventory look up and track parts/tolls for speedy issuance.
    • Keeps work area clean and organizes warehouse daily.
    • Keeps parts room locked and secured at all times.
    • Responsible for the daily cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Aviation materials and Inventory experience
    • Must possess and maintain a valid Driver License and a record that meets our company's insurance standards.
    • Must be able to obtain a SIDA badge for access.
    • Experience in driving a Forklift is necessary.
    • Must be well groomed and maintain a professional appearance.
    • Regular attendance and punctuality are required.
    • Must have a positive attitude.
    • Must pass a background check which includes a pre-employment drug test, finger printing and criminal history.
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the country in which the position is located.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Ability to use technical manuals, good mechanical aptitude and solve problems effectively.
    • Computer skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Office programs
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
    • Team player with strong work ethics.

    Work Environment:

    Office/Stockroom

    Work shifts may vary – must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

    Physical Effort & Travel Requirement:

    Heavy physical activity is required by handling objects up to 70 pounds occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds frequently. (Medium to Heavy).

    Travel as required.
