Description
We're seeking a Licensed Psychologist to conduct medical assessments on U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In these Disability Assessments, you'll examine behavioral health records digitally via a secure Web Portal and conduct a thorough assessment in person for each Veteran.
You'll also fill out Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
The Licensed Psychologist DOES NOT render disability determinations. The U.S. Veterans Administration is responsible for all disability determinations, using the findings documented in the DBQs.
This position SOLELY performs Disability Assessments on Veterans. There will be NO treatment or medication prescription involved.
The Licensed Psychologist will evaluate and assess an average of 3 (sometimes 4) Veterans per day.
The Licensed Psychologist will be engaged as an Independent Contractor.
Schedule 2-3 days
This role requires IN-PERSON presence.
