    • GJob DutiesThe Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as a Systems Analyst in the Integrated Care Division.
    Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    Serve as a project member for complex information technology systems testing (MES & EPS).Assigned projects will include performing technical systems testing and analysis.

    Prepares/reviews resulting documentation.
    Works closely with Subject Matter Experts, Integrated Care Systems, and Information Management staff.
    The position you are applying for is an Hourly/Wage position.

    Hourly (wage) employees may not work more than an average of 29 hours a week and cannot exceed 1500 hours during their employment year.

    This position does not include health insurance, retirement or leave.

    Located in beautiful Central Virginia, the Richmond area puts you just 2 hours from the Blue Ridge Mountains, Virginia Beach and Washington DC.

    Minimum QualificationsCompetitive candidates will meet these minimum qualifications:

    Considerable experience in the complete Software Development Life Cycle covering requirements management, data analysis, data modeling, systems analysis, architecture, and design.

    Considerable knowledge and skill in system applications, including SAS, spreadsheets, and databases.
    Considerable experience using standard software applications to create spreadsheets, project plans, and workflow progress.
    Considerable experience in analyzing and resolving problems and defining requirements.
    Considerable experience in IT systems testing and deployment of business applications.

    Considerable knowledge ensuring compliance with necessary federal and state rules, regulations, standards, and lawsConsiderable experience in prioritizing assignments and meeting stringent deadlines.

    Considerable experience working with internal/external stakeholders.
