    General Medical Technologist/Technician

    Sarasota, Florida

    Job Description:
    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented General Medical Technologist/Technician to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will perform laboratory tests, analyze results, and ensure accurate and timely reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical laboratory settings, with proficiency in various laboratory techniques and equipment.

    Responsibilities:
    Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests
    Analyze and interpret test results
    Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
    Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards
    Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnoses

    Qualifications:
    Minimum Associate's degree in Medical Technology or related field
    Certification from ASCP or equivalent (preferred)
    Florida Laboratory License or ability to obtain before start
    Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
    Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
