    The Role:
    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, and driving growth for the company.

    The Business Development Manager will play a key role in developing and executing strategic plans to expand our customer base and increase revenue.

    This role is based out of our Palo Alto, CA office, and an Onsite interview is required as part of the process.


    Responsibilities:
    Identify and research potential clients and markets to pursue new business opportunities.
    Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target industries.
    Lead the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals, including presenting proposals, negotiating contracts, and managing customer expectations.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to develop strategies and initiatives that drive growth.
    Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activities to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
    Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales targets and objectives.
    Track and report on sales performance metrics, including pipeline development, revenue forecasts, and sales activity.
    Continuously evaluate and optimize sales processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
    Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote our brand and expand our professional network.
    Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards.


    Basic Qualifications:
    5+ years of experience in business development, enterprise B2B sales, or related roles, preferably in ITSM or AI/ML domain.
    Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
    Strong networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders.
    Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
    Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for driving success.
    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
    Willingness to travel as needed.
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
