    American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Concord, New Hampshire.

    Job Description


    American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a NH or compact RN license and at least one year of experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Work on a 16-bed high acuity Med/Surg and Respiratory Care Unit in a hospital setting
    • Patient ratios are typically 4-5:1, occasionally up to 6:1
    • Night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am with 12-hour shifts
    • Shift schedule is rotating
    • EMR used is Cerner; previous experience is preferred but not required
    • Travelers may be asked to float to nearby affiliated hospital locations
    • No on-call responsibilities
    • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
    • Critical care RNs will be considered if comfortable with Med/Surg ratios and acuity
    • Weekly orientation is provided
    • Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break
    • Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted but will be offered a local rate
    • Schedule and all required time off must be documented prior to consideration

    Requirements

    • Active NH or compact RN license required
    • Minimum of 1-2 years recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
    • Current BLS certification required
    • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification must be obtained prior to start
    • ACLS certification is preferred
    • Must successfully complete a dysrhythmia exam during onboarding
    • Must provide a skills checklist matching specialty
    • Three professional references are needed, two from leadership roles
