- Establish appropriate statistical plans, analytical tools, and requirements for analyzing various product experiences.
- Assist in setting pricing objectives by making forecasts and projections to support the company’s mission and goals.
- Utilize actuarial modeling software to develop new products, project future results, and determine financial strength.
- Stay updated on market trends and research to achieve financial and market goals.
- Creatively approach problem-solving from various perspectives.
- Implement innovative solutions to business initiatives and provide training to team members.
- Represent USAA's interests at industry committee meetings and ensure effective risk management.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 4 years of Actuarial/business/analytical experience + Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS).
- Experience in developing innovative actuarial analyses and processes.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Intermediate experience in Python.
- Experience with project team participation in an Agile framework.
- Strong partnerships with business partners and personal lines pricing experience.
- Prior US military experience.
