Job DescriptionPeoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent dry goods client in Raphine, Virginia within the Manufacturing industry.
Fork Lift / Clamp Truck Operator Job Summary:

• $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
• 1st shift (7:00am- 5:00pm) or 2nd shift (7:00pm- 5:00am) Monday- Thursday, with possible overtime
• 2nd shift clamp truck operator 3:00pm- 1:00am with overtime when needed
• Responsible for the accurate storing, shipping, and receiving of product to meet company standards of safety, security and productivity. Participate in safety meetings. Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
• Moving trailers in and out of dock doors with
• Shipping/Receiving- Load, unload and properly document inbound and out bound shipments
• Storing- Move product to storage areas with proper equipment and efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate area
• Order Picking- Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped, Check and count freight for accuracy, damage and infestation, document and report damaged to warehouse management.
• Equipment- Operator material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Complete the Forklift Daily Inspection Form prior to use.

Fork Lift / Clamp Truck Operator Qualifications:

• Diploma or GED required
• Must be able to read write and understand basic English, count accurately, do simple math and write English legibly.
• Ability to multi-task, problem solve, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Ability to stand, sit, squat, crawl, bend, twist and/or kneel for up to 12-hour periods of time and repetitively
• Use hands and fingers to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, Utilize muscles to lift, push, pull or carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to varying temperatures: heat, cold, wet, damp, drafty
