    Job Description

    The Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers throughout the retail store.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers and answering product-related questions.
    • Cashier responsibilities, such as handling customer transactions and making price changes.
    • Stock and face merchandise on shelves, receive freight, and organize incoming products as directed by store management.
    • Responsible for cycle counts, accurate cash handling, and handling customer returns.

    Mental and Physical Requirements:

    • Excellent customer service skills are required.
    • Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and long periods of standing.
    • Frequent bending and twisting.

    Education, Training, and Experience:

    • A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

    Working Environment and Conditions:

    • Retail store environment with cold and warm conditions.
    • Irregular work schedule.

    Equipment and Tools:

    • Computer, calculator, cash register-scanner.
    • Telephone, fax, copy machine.
    • Computer software and network.
