Description

Dudley and Smith, P.A. is seeking an Associate Attorney, with a minimum 2 years court room experience, familiar with commercial documents, knowledge in business and corporate transactions. This is a full-time position available at a well-respected, well-known, Twin Cities law firm that has been in existence for over 70 years. Applicants also need to have strong verbal and written communication skills. The firm is seeking a smart, confident, well-rounded individual who is motivated, creative, common sense-oriented candidate with great critical and analytical skills. Must be duly licensed in the State of Minnesota. Must be a people person and a team player.

Annual Salary: $100,000-$130,000, plus production bonus

Attorney Responsibilities

-Legal Research

-Manage day-to-day Real Estate and Business matters

-Brief writing

-Take and defend depositions

-Argue Motions. Requirements - ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent through each task performed.

-Comprehensive knowledge of Business/Commercial matters

-Excellent academic credentials and references

-Great attention to detail

Attorney Qualifications

2 years litigation experience

Licensed in the State of Minnesota

Critical thinking/analytical skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
