- Research, develop, and implement best practice guide, in collaboration with the SUD division of the Behavioral Health Services Commission, for Level I assessors and Level II evaluators for people with SUD seeking long-term care.
- Respond timely to requests for technical assistance from Level I assessors or Level II evaluators regarding individual cases and refer to appropriate staff, other State Departments, and/or community-based services.
- Develop and implement a tracking strategy for documenting the services provided.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills required (especially Excel).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong ability to synthesize information.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local government structures as well as private sector resources is a plus.
- Minimum of one year experience working with individuals in crisis, substance use disorder, etc.
- Previous experience working in a team environment.
- Familiarity with nursing facility, nursing facility for mental health, or related work.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and the flexibility to creatively adapt to ever-changing circumstances and events is essential to success in this position.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Familiarity with data tracking.
- Bachelor's degree in a Behavioral health or related field.
