    Description
    We are seeking a kind, compassionate, and task-oriented professional Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a multi-disciplinary environment and demonstrate adequate skills in medical nutrition therapy.

    The RDN will be responsible for assessing, implementing, and monitoring medical nutritional therapy for all patients in accordance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines.

    Collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals is essential to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes for patients.

    The RDN is also responsible for precepting dietetic interns.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct nutrition assessments and reassessments for patients to evaluate their, nutritional status, and specific nutritional needs based on their medical condition and treatment plan.
    • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure that nutrition interventions are integrated into the overall treatment plan.
    • Monitor patients' nutritional status and response to nutrition therapy through regular follow-up assessments, laboratory data analysis, and communication with the healthcare team.
    • Precept dietetic interns in a kind manner to help them thrive in the profession.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
    • Registered Dietitian (RD) credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
    • State licensure or certification as a dietitian or nutritionist, as required by the state of practice.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively educate and counsel patients and collaborate with healthcare team members.
    • Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy principles and guidelines for managing various medical conditions, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, renal disease, and gastrointestinal disorders.
    • Proficiency in using nutrition assessment tools, software, and electronic medical records systems for documentation and data analysis.

    Schedule:

    • 40 hours a week, one weekend per month.
