    Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team and manage multiple clients financial transactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of income tax, accounting and payroll compliance and reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accountng principles, excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to work independently and efficiently.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and review individual and business income tax returns including tax form 1040, 1120, 1120-S, 1065 series and multiple state return preparation.
    • Ethical due diligence reporting.
    • Fixed asset management and depreciation reporting.
    • Conduct thorough research and remain up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
    • Prepare financial statements and collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for tax filings.
    • Perform financial analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
    • Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize their tax liabilities.
    • Provide guidance and support to clients regarding tax audits and inquiries.
    • Weekly accounting and payroll for multiple clients including payroll and sales tax reporting for businesses.
    • Utilize accounting and income tax software (such as QuickBooks, Excel and Drake) to record and track financial transactions.
    • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe software.
    • Train and manage seasonal employees.
    • Develop and maintain consistent office paper flow, procedures and policies.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred or 5+ years experience.
    • Strong knowledge of tax accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
    • Proficiency in financial concepts and analysis.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide clear insights. Strong written and oral communication skills and a positive attitude.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
