    We are seeking an experienced full timeAuthorizations Associate to join our growing multi-disciplinary team within our RCM department

    What will you do?
    • Responsible for all prior authorizations for treatment across every discipline
    • Work with families and providers internally to obtain documentation needed for authorizations
    • Work closely with scheduling and internal teams to identify need for authorization, hours, and executes process for specific carrier, and follow through to completion (clear for reimbursement)
    • Ensure no client receives services without valid authorization in place
    • Serve as the primary contact between insurance carriers and Cortica for authorization management to include denials, appeals, clerical errors, database errors, and any other issues inhibiting access to treatment
    • Manage Authorization Trackers
    • Handle inbound calls and emails from patients regarding questions on their authorizations

    • You have excellent organizational and task management skills.
    • You are an effective communicator with the ability to present information in a clear, concise manner.
    • You enjoy solving problems and identifying trends.
    • You have a strong understanding of insurance billing and CPT coding.
    • You have 2+ years of healthcare billing experience.
