    Job Summary:

    The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN collaborates with residents and families, as well as other healthcare professionals, to plan, implement, and evaluate care.

    The RN demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge, utilizing age and population-specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting. They care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.

    The RN is responsible for coordinating care, resident assessment, resident education, and various other nursing interventions. They may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel as needed.

    Responsibilities:

    • Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents
    • Collaborate with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate care

    Qualifications:

    • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
    • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
    • Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications

    Estimated Salary Range: $48,000 - $72,000 per year
