    ExemptJOB SUMMARYProspects and develops new markets and service existing accounts in assigned territory. Maintains a high level of sales and quality customer service.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Education:
    Requires Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field. Master's degree in business administration (MBA) is preferred.
    Experience: 4years experience in business development or inside sales and lead generation.

    Licenses/Certifications:
    None

    Technical Abilities:

    Knowledge of job costing and project estimating principles and practices as would be acquired through five to seven years of related experience in a similar industry.

    Knowledge of the use and operation of petroleum tanks and products.

    Autonomy/Direction:

    High degree of leadership, integrity, decision-making, judgment, complex problem solving, critical thinking, management of personnel resources, social perceptiveness, management of financial resources, negotiation, persuasion, systems evaluation, time management, management of material resources, operations analysis abilities is required.

    Indirectly directs multiple supervisors and professionals.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    20%:
    Leads a small team of sales professionals. Executes the company and department's sales strategy by setting expectations, training and supporting sales personnel.

    Prospects and develops new markets for Seneca products and/or services; promotes sale of consumable products and/or Company services as assigned.

    Maintains service and sales support to existing customer accounts for parts, equipment and repairs.

    Adheres to Company pricing structure and monitors gross profit margins for the sale of products and/or services; develops accurate sales quotes on equipment and systems recommended and follows-up on same.


    20%:

    Analyzes customer operations and makes recommendations on appropriate equipment and systems needed to enhance operations; maintains customer relations by advising customers on equipment, layouts and regulations.

    Completes call reports on sales calls made

    20%:

    Confers with and maintains dealer relations; consults with vendors and performs research in order to quote the best products and prices to the customers.

    Attends vendor-training sessions to maintain knowledge of new products and developments in the industry. Attend trade shows.

    20%:
    Participates in and/or conducts sales presentations and/or pre-construction meetings. Maintains communications with various shop and/or sales personnel regarding equipment and systems sold. Completes and maintains expense reports.

    20%:
    Performs other duties as assigned.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    Working Hazards:
    Works in a seated position for extended periods of time.

    Physical/Mental Exertion:

    Ability to perform light physical work, exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a frequent basis, performing such activities as fingering, grasping, lifting, reaching, crouching, and repetitive tasks.

    Continuous attention to numerical detail. Normal office environment.

    Tools and Equipment:
    Ability to accomplish the described duties through the use of appropriate computer and general office equipment. Works with Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint. Highly computer literate and uses accounting, supply chain and CRM software.
