Job Description:
Maintain client cash accounts
Contact client on cash concerns
Prepare a draft financial statement
Prepare year end workpapers
Overtime hours required in tax season, includes an additional 10 hours per week

Job Requirements:
Accounting Experience (2+ year)
Proficient in the use of QuickBooks and various accounting software systems and Excel
Enters and pays invoices accurately; aware of due date and correctness of invoice
Aware of general ledger accounts and proper posting
Posts and processes payroll correctly and understands payroll principles
Controls cash and presents accurate cash report/balance to clients
Files sales tax returns
Basic understanding of payroll tax returns and calculations
Reconciles book to bank accurately and efficiently
Prepares and understands journal entries and financial statements, including the ability to complete a review of the general ledger in detail
Organized and detail oriented
Positive attitude
