- Maintains required certifications and licenses and meets the continuing education needs and requirements of the position to include, attending mandatory training courses.

- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Five years of work experience in the Business Analysis field.
- Relevant education and experience can be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Project Management Institute - Professional Business Analyst (PMI-PBA), or Six Sigma certification.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations relevant to Business Strategy and Automation.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of public administration.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

General Description
Performs highly complex (senior-level) business analysis work. Work involves eliciting, developing, and documenting user requirements. Reviews, assesses, and develops business processes. Creates and validates user acceptance testing. Performs post-implementation support of systems, and provides support for the software development life cycle. May train others. Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Reports to the Manager of the Business Strategy and Automation Department.
