    Description

    Tiposi is an emerging application driven Microwave Image Company based in Silicon Valley, California. Specializing in low-frequency, low-power radar sensor technology, Tiposi will improve the quality of life, personal comfort and safety, by enabling non-intrusive sensors that collect relevant data while preserving full privacy.

    As a rapidly expanding company, we are in search of an RF System Engineer who thrives in the dynamic challenges of a startup environment. Here are the details of the position:

    RF System Engineer

    We are seeking individuals with the following characteristics:

    • Able to supervise layout contractors to ensure quality and adherence to design specifications and timelines.
    • Working experience in antenna design and testing, encompassing antenna and wave propagation, anechoic chambers, and radiation performance evaluation.
    • Proficient in receiver system analysis and design, with a focus on intermodulation, sensitivity, noise figure, and single-tone desensitization.
    • Practical familiarity with RF circuitry and hardware through direct laboratory application.
    • Familiarity with RF calibrations and various RF metrics.
    • Solid understanding of electromagnetic principles and transmission line theory.
    • Practical familiarity with RF circuitry and hardware through direct laboratory application.
    • Proficiency in using RF simulation tools such as ADS, HFSS, and MATLAB.
    • Hands-on experience with RF equipment, including network analyzers, signal generators, and signal analyzers.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Strong drive and ambition to thrive in a startup environment.

    REQUIRED

    • Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree.
    • 2-5 years of relevant experience with a strong background in RF.

    NICE TO HAVE

    • Experience in overseas mass production support.
    • Experience in wideband RF design.
    • Knowledge of microwave imaging protocols or medical device experience.
    • PhD in Electrical Engineering.
