    Daily work will revolve around Epic and other currently available software and equipment, technology as it relates to clinical practice. Responsible for design, analysis, testing, installation and support activities required for clinical information systems solutions that are developed or acquired as a part of the overall Hospital network of integrated computer systems. Must be able to provide assistance and consultation to Clinical Departments and serve as the coordinator between clinical departments and IT. Applies principles of clinical practice in daily work while building strong relations and teams.

    Overview of Responsibilities:
    • Participate in the implementation of new information systems, or enhancements to existing systems(ie, Epic) involving the analysis of clinical user requirements and then make recommendations for clinical use
    • Assists with the system design activities, recognizing and pointing out constraints and shortcomings or particular clinical approaches.
    • Participate in clinical system testing, adaption, and troubleshooting functions and make recommendations for system improvements.
    • Trouble shoot and problem solve end user issues with the clinical system documentation, workflows, etc.
    • Assists in the preparation of project plans to include estimating, scheduling and manpower requirement
    Education/Experience:

    Education Required: BSN

    License Required: Licensure in the State of Indiana as a Registered Nurse.

    License Required: Must maintain BLS after intial training.

    Schedule Details:
    Day Shift. Salaried. Monday- Friday.
