    As our client continues to expand their operations, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting to join our finance team and play a pivotal role in driving our success.

    Position Overview: Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of revenue accounting, financial reporting, and compliance. This role will involve building and leading a team and collaborating closely with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate revenue recognition and adherence to regulatory requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    · Own the revenue accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely recording of revenue transactions in compliance with US GAAP and ASC 606.

    · Lead the monthly close process for all revenue-related activities and ensure proper documentation of accounting treatments.

    · Develop and maintain policies and procedures for revenue recognition and accounts receivable management.

    · Serve as the primary point of contact for finance, external auditors, and senior leadership on revenue-related matters.

    · Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and other departments to provide guidance on complex revenue transactions, ensuring accurate and timely recognition.

    · Train, supervise and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their success and professional growth.

    · Drive the use of data analytics tools to identify revenue trends and improve forecasting accuracy

    · Develop and implement process improvements to improve efficiency.

    · Maintain and improve internal controls over the order-to-cash cycle, including reporting and related accounting estimates.

    · Oversee the implementation and maintenance of revenue-related systems and tools, ensuring alignment with business needs.

    · Collaborate with finance and business teams to analyze revenue-related transactions and variances to budget.

    Qualifications:

    · Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a must.

    · Prior public accounting experience preferred.

    · Minimum of 8-12 years of progressive experience in inventory accounting or related roles.

    · Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition principles, with specific expertise in ASC 606, including multiple element arrangements and gross vs net accounting.

    · Proven leadership skills with experience building, managing and developing a team.

    · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

    · Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence key stakeholders.

    · Ability to think strategically and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

    · Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

    Desired Skills:

    · Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and data analytics tools such as Alteryx, Tableau and Power BI.

    · Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.

    · Proficiency with ERP systems, with experience in Netsuite or similar platforms preferred.

    · Knowledge of internal control best practices.

    · Passion for continuous learning and professional development.

    Location: Fully remote or option for hybrid in the NYC area

    Compensation: 170k Base plus Bonus potential up to 15% Plus Equity
