The Nottingham, Central New York's Leading Retirement Community, is currently seeking per diem Support Service Workers to provide an exceptional dining experience for our residents. Join our team to take orders and serve meals for daily dining and special events.
**Responsibilities**
- Offer a complete dining service
- Politely take and deliver orders in courses
- Ensure each course is cleared before the next one
- Reset tables after each meal
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Engage with guests warmly, respond to inquiries, and provide food and drink recommendations
- Engage in opening, ongoing, and closing tasks, including basic housekeeping duties
**Qualifications**
- High School diploma or equivalent not mandatory
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English
- Ability to adjust schedule for resident requirements
- Willingness to work during special events, weekends, evenings, and some holidays
- Availability from 4 to 8 pm preferred, shifts may vary
- Must have reliable transportation as we are not on a bus route
