    Position Title:Development Program Manager

    Business Unit:Human Resources

    Reports to:Director of Human Resource Operations

    Position Overview:

    This position is primarily responsible for the development, management, and administration of early career development programs across the organization. In consultation with senior bank stakeholders and HR, proactively evaluates organizational strategy and talent trends to best identify departments and functions that could benefit from a development program. The individual is responsible for the oversight of the program participants and working with lines of businesses to ensure an outstanding participant experience and that program objectives are outlined and met by all participants.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Manages all aspects of the development programs including recruitment, learning experience, and placement of participants. Provides strategic oversight of the development programs and centralized activities. Provide a highly competitive comprehensive early career experience for those participants in the program(s).

    Partners with participating lines of businesses and Learning Programs to ensure learning objectives of field experience are clearly defined and have strategies to ensure their execution. Works closely with key leaders to ensure foundational skills are learned and helps in defining objectives in creating rotational opportunities and positions to expedite the development of high potential talent.

    Partners with Talent Acquisition and lines of business to ensure recruiting goals of the programs are met and to ensure placement opportunities are identified upon the completion of the program by participants.

    Provides direct and indirect management of the program participants, including career coaching throughout the duration of the assignments. Ensures feedback is provided by line of business partners throughout the process and leads addressing any performance issues that may arise of any program participants. Provides performance coaching and mentoring to program participants.

    Responsible for administrative tasks associated with the program such as coordination and communication of the annual program schedule, aspects of the recruiting process, and setting up participant networking activities. May also work with line of business designees in coordinating additional administrative tasks such as work location for program participants. Coordinates any vendor support.

    Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
