We are continually growing and our growth has created a need for a Purchasing Inventory Analyst.

    Requirements Under the direction of the Director of Supply Chain be responsible for procurement of goods and services, with an emphasis on cost containment.

    Responsible for the processing, monitoring, and analyzing; and giving accurate reporting of an organizations inventory level with a focus on minimizing costs, while maintaining product availability at the right amount and supply needed by performing the following responsibilities:
    Purchase materials using Forecast, history and production schedules to maintain inventory at planned levels.
    Develops specifications for new contract orders.

    Evaluates vendor reliability, develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are inadequate (Scorecards).Monitors cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.

    Determines method of procurement such as direct purchase or bid.

    Provides input to Director of Supply Chain on bid proposals to ensure bids and contracts are within budgetary limitations and scope of authority.

    Interface with various departments to establish viability of requested materials.
    Reviews requisitions.

    Utilizes E21 Inventory system to establish/monitor inventory levelsMaintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories.

    Establishes best practices for procurement of goods.
    Carry out data analytics, research, and response for variances.
    Undertake analysis on inventory levels, aging, and obsolescence.
    Responsible for preparing and reporting progress of monthly inventory forecast.
    Scrutinize and analyze inventory issues and apply LEAN methods to prepare recommendations for policy/process improvements related to inventory tracking and accuracyDevelop performance metrics and reporting tools, and establish ad-hoc reporting to enhance department efficiencyResponsible for analyzing data and generating monthly dashboards/reports to ensure inventory accuracyResponsible for identifying the root cause of all inventory adjustmentsResponsible for the accuracy using cycle counting and other reporting toolsResponsible for identifying and implementing process improvements as required
    Minimum QualificationsBachelors degree preferred in Business or Finance, Supply Chain or Education and equivalent work experience5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience preferably in the food industryExceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyAbility to influence othersExcellent analytical skillsExcellent customer service skillsAdvanced Excel capabilitiesERP experience preferredAPICS, CPIM and or CSCP or SPSM certification preferredEOE#J-18808-Ljbffr
