Your enthusiasm and friendly demeanor will help foster positive guest relations, ensuring everyone feels comfortable from the moment they arrive. Duties
- Greet guests with a genuine smile and energetic attitude as they arrive, setting a positive tone for their visit
- Assist guests with directions, seating arrangements, or inquiries to enhance their overall experience
- Manage guest flow by coordinating wait times and communicating effectively with team members
- Maintain a clean and organized greeting area to reflect our commitment to hospitality excellence
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to assist with reservations or guest check-ins when needed
- Provide excellent customer service by actively listening and responding promptly to guest needs
- Support the host/hostess team in managing reservations and guest seating to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous host/hostess experience or background in food service or hospitality preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Experience working with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to handle inquiries courteously
- Ability to remain energetic, approachable, and attentive during busy periods
- Familiarity with restaurant operations or hotel guest services is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment and adapt quickly to changing needs
