    ROLE
    We need an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to support the Department of Transportation (DOT). Your scope of work will be focused on leveraging your expertise to ensure the quality of a new Salesforce solution.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Support the modernization of National Consumer Complaint Database (NCCDB) capabilities
    • Leveraging the Salesforce Platform to provide quality assurance to NCCDB
    • Participate in the requirements gathering and analysis
    • Provide insight on potential quality issues
    • Develop automated and manual testing solutions based on customer requirements
    • Collaborate with Software Architects, Developers, and other technical team members to review implementations
    • Receive and provide testing feedback from implementations and tracking tools
    • Implement testing scenarios for usability testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)
    • Apply expert knowledge of both manual and automated testing methodologies
    • Create a testing approach based on system documentation and requirements analysis
    • Collaborate with business/technical stakeholders to comprehend system requirements and design
    • Discuss findings and impact of system modifications with stakeholders
    • Use tracking tools (e.g., Jira) to detail test cases, results, and defects
    • Conduct regression testing after updates or the addition of new features
    • Ensure original capabilities have not been affected after updates and or addition of new features
    KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
    • 5+ years of functional experience
    • 3+ years of specialized experience
    • Extensive knowledge with Salesforce architecture and API solutions
    • Exp. with Agile development methodologies, user story creation, scrum, etc.
    • Proficiency with test case creation, execution, and defect tracking in Salesforce applications
    • Proficiency in regression testing and managing the defect management process


    BACKGROUND
    • Progressive and relevant experience
    • Preferred certs—Salesforce Platform Developer, Salesforce Admin., Salesforce Platform App Builder, Salesforce Architect, Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant
    • Accredited Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Professional preferred
    • Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, or MuleSoft preferred
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    EDUCATION
    • Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline required
