Position Overview

We are seeking a Software Developer who will be responsible for developing tools for cybersecurity, network security, and/or offensive cyber operations.

Responsibilities

Development and Customization of software solutions that support cyber operations.
Secure coding practices.
Research and innovation of new technologies and programming techniques.
Testing and quality assurance.
Collaboration and team support.

Required Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required #qinetiqclearedjob
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
Demonstrated experience in software development, with specific experience in developing tools for cybersecurity, network security, or offensive cyber operations.
Proven track record of developing secure and effective software solutions in high-security environments.
Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Java, and assembly languages.
Experience with low-level programming and an understanding of network protocols, cryptography, and system internals (Linux/Windows).
Strong analytical abilities are essential for troubleshooting, problem-solving, and developing innovative software solutions.
Excellent communication skills are necessary for documenting developments, collaborating with team members, and explaining complex software solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degrees or specialized training in cybersecurity or network security.
Relevant certifications such as Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) or Certified Information. Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
