    The Role

    Position: Banquet Server

    Reports To: Banquet Captain & Director-F&B

    Job Profile

    As a Banquet Server, you will interact with guests, ensuring they have an exceptional dining and meeting experience at our property. You will be responsible for positive guest interactions while serving food and beverages in a friendly and efficient manner, making them feel welcome, comfortable, important, and relaxed at all times.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Check server's and house person's BEOs to ensure accuracy.
    • Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) at the beginning of each shift to confirm room setup according to contracted specifications.
    • Know the menu for each function served and be able to explain major ingredients and preparation methods.
    • Communicate with the Banquet Captain/Lead Server regarding special needs.
    • Set tables, glassware, flatware, and silverware per dining rules and specifications.
    • Greet and serve guests following established policies and procedures.
    • Maintain a clean and organized station while servicing guests.
    • Deliver a proper dining experience, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses, and fulfilling guest needs.
    • Assist in setting up and breaking down buffet or special food service tables, stations, and equipment.
    • Follow guest check and money-handling procedures when serving a-la-carte and beverage orders.
    • Complete assigned side work.
    Desired Skills and Qualifications

    Education: High school education or equivalent experience.

    Experience: Six months in a hotel or convention center banquet food/beverage services environment.

    Skills and Abilities:Able to read, speak, and understand English. Able to lift, push, carry 20-40 lbs, stand continuously for long periods, and communicate effectively with management, staff, and guests.
