    Senior Project Manager (Roadway Design)
    Jacksonville, Florida

    Crawford Murphy & Tilly (CMT) is hiring for a Senior Project Manager (Roadway Design) in their Jacksonville, Florida office.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an established project manager to further their career and grow into the roadway design group manager position in the near future.


    In this role, the engineer will provide quality control and technical guidance, mentor junior engineers, serve as a project manager, and assist with local business development efforts in maintaining and growing a strong, local FDOT practice.

    This position will grow into the local roadway leader, responsible for managing an established and highly skilled team of roadway engineers.

    The Jacksonville office has extensive backlog including multiple contracts with FDOT District 2.

    The CMT roadway team combines professional expertise in roadway design and the freedom to pursue innovative approaches to projects where they are warranted.

    The team designed the first double median U-turn intersection in Florida as part of the SR 212 (Beach Boulevard) interchange improvement project.

    The project was recognized by ACEC Florida in 2024 with the Engineering Excellence Grand Award for this engineering achievement. The majority of the projects will be located in Florida, and minimal travel is required for this position.

    Requirements:

    • BS in Civil Engineering or related engineering field.
    • 10+ years of experience.
    • Licensed Professional Engineer.
    • Roadway design experience.
    • Prior experience working with DOTs, FDOT experience is preferred.
