- Operate mobile equipment in the loading and unloading of containers and trucks.
- Responsible for performing warehouse functions to insure timely and accurate reporting of receipts and issues of warehouse stock, and proper physical control of warehouse inventory.
- Responsible for performing and completing department objectives and goals.
- Recommend cost saving measures on inventoried parts.
- Identify and correct wasteful issues and processes.
- Responsible for providing professional, timely and courteous service to all mine departments in order to manage the procurement of goods and services for the mine site.
- Employee must perform duties and activities in a manner that conforms to all safety practices and other policies, procedures and standard that are established by the company or required by law.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements: - Ability to work safe and promote safe behavior in others.
- Possess a high school diploma or the equivalent.
- Two years of experience in warehousing functions preferred.
- Inventory control experience preferred.
- Equipment operation experience required.
- Computer experience required.
- Sets high standards for self and others, builds trust, and takes accountability.
- Preference given to Alaskan residents.
