    Job Description:

    SUMMARY

    The Program Manager reports to andsupports the Director, Healthcare Solutions in the oversight of day-to-dayoperations of Health Industry Solutions' contract trainings, continuing education and openenrollment for programs and courses, including Patient Access Specialist,Comprehensive Medical Coding, and Community Health Worker. This role will also assist with various instructorand curriculum development projects and manage budgets for non-direct patientcare programs. The Program Manager willassist the Director with external communications, marketing strategies andpublic relations of department programs, in collaboration with Workforcedivision and collegewide marketing and communications resources.

    ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
    • Oversees and manages the administration of the day-to-day operations of open enrollment and contract trainings for the Patient Access Specialist, Comprehensive Medical Coding, Community Health Worker programs and the continuing education courses
    • Provides input for learning outcomes, assessments and program objectives.
    • Coordinates meetings with instructors, facilitators, & contractors
    • Supervises and assesses the performance of Patient Access Specialist, Comprehensive Medical Coding, and Community Health Worker program instructors
    • Conducts instructor and staff meetings
    • Assigns instructors to course schedules
    • Assists with development and execution of surveys, course, and student evaluations, to provide data analysis for continuous improvement and grant reporting
    • Manages curriculum development and coordination of revisions for existing courses
    • Develops and maintains effective communication with prospective applicants, students, graduates, instructors, and community stakeholders
    • Works with operational databases to streamline processes and workflow
    • Works collaboratively with the Director, Healthcare Solutions and serves as a liaison between the College and industry partners
    • Works with the Director, Healthcare Solutions to develop strategies for public relations and marketing of designated programs
    • Assists the Director, Healthcare Solutions with the preparation and administration of the program budget(s)
    • Submits bi-weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly programmatic reports and/or budgetary spending reports to the Director, Healthcare Solutions
    • Assists with grant proposal writing for current or new programs
    • Attends meetings, conferences, and workshops for educational and business development
    • Assures program, division, and College standards are met
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATIONAND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
    • Master's Degree in a healthcare, education, leadership, management, or a related field
    • Demonstrated experience in one of the following:
      • 5 years as a Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA)
      • 2 years as a Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM)
      • 4 years as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
      • 4 years as a Certified Community Health Worker
      • 4 years as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
      • 4 years as a Registered Nurse (RN) with six years of experience working with Certified Community Health Workers (CCHWs)
      • 4 years as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
      • 2 years as a Certified Professional Coder Instructor (CPC-I)
      • Ability to acquire a second certification of those indicated above, within one year of hire.
    • Demonstrated experience in program and curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation
    • Demonstrated experience forecasting, planning, preparing, monitoring and maintaining a business area's budget
    • Demonstrated experience in a role requiring critical thinking and diverse problem-solving skills
