Summer Outdoor Job - Wildland Firefighter

We are seeking dedicated individuals to help protect wildlands from wildfires. This seasonal, temporary firefighting job is offered statewide throughout various units.

The work is physically demanding and requires labor outside in variable weather conditions. We provide training, safety gear, and equipment for a successful mission.

• You will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks including physical labor, mechanical repair, map reading, compass use, GPS navigation and equipment operation.

To succeed in this role you must have physical stamina and endurance as well as the ability to perform courageous outdoor work safely productively and responsibly under the guidance of senior personnel.
