    Description

    Marshfield Clinic Health System is seeking a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Surgeon to join our established Pediatric Surgical Department at Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

    You will join an experienced group of Pediatric Surgeons to further develop the program and provide comprehensive care to our pediatric patients in Northcentral Wisconsin.

    This position is well supported which includes a Physician Assistant who is part of the program, along with all Pediatric Subspecialities available onsite.

    You will be responsible for training our General Surgery residents in Pediatric Surgical Care. Opportunities exist to help lead the Pediatric Trauma Program and serve as the Surgical Liaison to COG if desired. The Marshfield Clinic Research Institute (MCRI) will support research initiatives if desired.

    Our 56-bed Children's Hospital is Central Wisconsin's only accredited pediatric hospital, and one of only four in Wisconsin.

    The hospital has a 24-bed level 3 NICU with 24/7 neonatology support and normal newborn nursery; Marshfield Childrens is an ACS Verified Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Program and a member of the Childrens Oncology Group (COG).

    Certified child life specialists ensure children receive the emotional support they may need to cope with their treatment during their hospital stay.
