- Monitor and analyze market trends to make informed decisions about inventory levels and pricing strategies
- Manage and maintain a large inventory of used vehicles, ensuring they are wellpresented and in excellent condition for sale
- Work closely with the sales team to provide support and resources for selling used vehicles
- Train and supervise a team of employees in the used car inventory department, providing guidance and support to ensure success
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of inventory, sales, and financial transactions
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and service, to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
- Monitor and report on performance metrics to senior management
- Stay uptodate on industry developments and make recommendations for improvement and growth of the used car inventory department
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Automotive Management, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in the auto industry, with a background in sales and management
- Strong understanding of market trends and strategies for purchasing and selling used vehicles
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Experience managing a team and ability to motivate and develop others
- Knowledge of dealership finance and operations preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
