Job Description:

Facilities Specialist responsibilities include:

Reviewing testing procedures, analysis, site history, and waste description for contaminated soil acceptance.
Assisting in project approvals to ensure material compliance.
Evaluating inbound jobs for completeness and acceptability.
Ensuring proper sampling and compliance with permit standards.
Reviewing facility permits for compliance.
Maintaining compliance records.
Preparing and submitting reports to regulatory agencies as necessary.
Conducting compliance reviews and safety assessments.
Performing EH&S inspections and training.
Administering EH&S compliance programs.
Promoting a safe work environment.
Adhering to company and EH&S policies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Environmental Health & Safety.
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
2-5 years experience in EH&S.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Tactful communication skills.
