Job summary
This part-time role requires flexibility to work both day and night shifts each week, including some weekend requirements. As a Unit Secretary in the Admission Discharge Transition Unit at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center,you will be responsible for completing clerical duties for patient scheduling, admissions, procedures, transfers, surgeries, discharges and deaths under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Handling and screening incoming calls and transmitting messages as necessary is also an essential function of this role.
