Responsibilities
- Cross-Functional Operational Exposure & Learning Participate in operations including basic assembly inspection packaging material handling or inventory tasks under supervision Rotate across workstations or departments e.g Rx Manufacturing Logistics to gain a broad understanding of EssilorLuxotticas workflows Observe team leads/operators to understand procedures and safety protocols Support Daily Operations Support material prep equipment checks order handling or routine tasks based on department Document minor process steps or observations to support team activities Help track and report basic metrics such as job counts throughput where applicable Collaboration Teamwork Collaborate with supervisors technicians cross-functional teams to understand how priorities are managed in fast-paced environment Contribute to team meetings safety talks improvement huddles Practice effective communication teamwork on live shop floor Safety Compliance Awareness Adhere PPE site safety requirements at all times Follow GMPs department-specific compliance requirements Support housekeeping workplace organization initiatives Contribution Improvement Projects Support short-term projects improve efficiency organization flow Share feedback continuous improvement BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Enrolled full-time secondary post-secondary program Canada Must meet minimum legal working age federal/provincial law start employment Available full-time onsite production logistics operations Able stand long periods work production environment Detail-oriented eager learn strong team player Comfortable rotating departments tasks Able follow instructions stay focused safety-quality driven setting Legally authorized work Canada OTHER Proof enrollment age required Role duties evolve business needs Temporary full-time summer role enrolled students supporting operations e.g production logistics supply chain This posting existing vacancy business Employee pay determined multiple factors geography experience qualifications skills local minimum wage requirements In addition offered competitive bonus commission plan complements first-class total rewards package Benefits include healthcare retirement savings paid time off/vacation various employee discounts>
