    Job Description

    Title: Athletic Trainer

    Location: Bentworth High School and Scenery Hill WPT clinic

    Job Type: Full-Time

    Salary: $52,000

    Schedule: Monday to Friday, no weekend commitments except for rare occasions like playoff games. 2pm to end of game/practice schedule. *YOU WILL HAVE RELIEF ON SOME WEEKNIGHTS, WITH COVERAGE BEING OFFSET BY WILLING PHYSICAL THERAPISTS

We're looking for an Athletic Trainer to join our team at Bentworth High School, covering all varsity and JV athletics.

    Role Overview

    • Evaluates and manages injuries for Bentworth Varsity and JV Athletic Teams. Maintains a medical file on each athlete and acts as a liaison between the physician and the athlete or athlete's parent/guardian.
    • Acts as a liaison between the athletes and parents/guardians, school administrators, school nurses, guidance counselors, and coaches in order to return the athlete to practice/competition.
    • Implements treatment programs that are safe and effective for injured athletes, coordinating care with other appropriate healthcare practitioners. Develops functional training programs and conditioning programs for injured and non-injured athletes.
    • Maintains all appropriate certifications and records (weight certifications for wrestling, concussion protocol management documentation, etc).

    Required Skills and Experience

    • National Athletic Training Association (NATA) Certified
    • CPR Certified
    • School Experience
    • Masters Degree Preferred
    • Flexible and adaptable
