    Forcepoint is looking for a Data Center Operations Manager to join our team to manage all global data centers, providing world-class service to our SaaS customers

    .

    We are currently expanding our infrastructure management team and we are looking for a manager with experience in people leadership, a strong technical understanding of data center operations and infrastructure, and the drive and vision to take Forcepoint Data Center Operations into the future.

    The Data Center Manager is the leadership role for our operations teams. They will have managerial responsibility for safety, security, availability, scaling, costs and efficiency for the company.

    They lead the installing, maintaining, and de-commissioning network and server equipment in a safe, secure, and cost-effective manner across the world.

    The Data Center Operations Manager must manage across each function but also have the ability to dive deep into any given function as needed.

    Must have 5-10 year's experience maintaining multiple data centers in multiple continents across the world.

    Duties/Responsibilities:
    Managing and overseeing our collocation spaces, ensuring they meet our technical requirements and are maintained appropriately.
    Monitoring, managing, and ensuring the optimal operation of all our circuits. Address any disruptions or inefficiencies promptly.
    Analyzing current and forecasted workload to determine infrastructure needs.
    Establishing, monitoring, and optimizing transit and peering sessions to ensure efficient data exchange and connectivity.
    Designing and implementing redundancy strategies for our infrastructure to ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
    Collaborating with vendors and service providers to secure optimal pricing and ensure timely deliveries.
    Preparing and managing the data center budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining the highest levels of performance and reliability.
    Cost management from overall budget to monthly invoicing reconciliation.
    Preparing regular reports on the performance, efficiency, availability, and health of our data center operations for senior management.
    Maintaining DCIM tools

    Required Skills:
    BS in Computer Science or similar degree and 6+ years of related experience, or equivalent work experience
    Deep understanding of data center technologies, network topologies, redundancy methodologies, and collocation management.
    Familiarity with common network management tools such as SolarWinds to prepare regular reports.

    Comfortable using Window and Linux based computing environments, Juniper routing and switching, as well as cloud product components is a plus.

    Ability to manage time efficiently, working independently and on a cross functional team
    Familiarity with network protocol BGP, and IP interconnection
    Familiar with data center infrastructure management solutions.
    Experience building out of offices from concept to occupation is a plus.
