    Strategic Pricing Leader

    Responsibilities:
    Design and implement pricing strategies which lead to optimized sales, profit, and customer segment penetration across product categories and channels
    Lead strategic and tactical planning process, including financial projections, competitive benchmarking, and sensitivity analyses
    Understand cost structures and profitability drivers for the overall business, relevant classes of trade and specific customer deals
    Establish pricing structures at a regional and product segment level that drive margin while maintaining growth and customer loyalty
    Influence key stakeholders (C-Level) to ensure buy-in and successful implementation
    Engage cross-functional leaders in the development and execution of new pricing strategies
    Provide strategic pricing direction to sales and marketing teams
    Develop a road map for future strategic revenue management initiatives
    Establish and maintain procedures for review and adjusting of strategic pricing based on changing economic and competitive landscape
    Establish and monitor key metrics and improve performance on an ongoing basis
    Review and optimize rebate and commission programs to ensure they are in line with company goals
    Builds on current reporting to improve pricing decision making capabilities
    Oversee development of metrics and dashboards that empower sales and marketing department to deliver results
    Develop a deep understanding of customer segments, competitor offerings and market trends
    Perform industry research on latest pricing techniques, systems, and competitive environment
    Help build the skills in regional sales teams in relation to building value propositions that support value-based pricing
    Support sell story development for major customers
    Lead enhancement of current pricing system and tools
    Oversee competitive data acquisition and maintenance
    Attract, develop and retain talent to grow revenue management expertise at Archer

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, or other business driven field required, Master's degree preferred
    7-10 years professional experience in Pricing / Revenue Management / Marketing / Sales /Finance in a major corporation
    5+ years of experience building and leading high-performance teams
    Proven experience presenting and communicating project specifics to C-Level stakeholders
    Proven experience driving revenue growth through pricing initiatives
    Proven experience working on cross-functional projects
    Excellent project management, quantitative and modeling skills required
    Knowledge of pricing concepts, including elasticity, pricing waterfalls, margin pool analysis etc.
    Strong background working with financial statements and drivers of profitability
    Expert with Microsoft Suite of tools
    Keen attention to detail
